Mountain Day 1: Momella Gate (1500m) to Miriakamba Hut (2500m) Distance: 6km Time: 4 – 5 hours.
Mountain Day 2: Miriakamba Hut (2500m) to Saddle Hut (3500m) Distance: 6.5km Time: 3 – 4 hours.
Mountain Day 3: Saddle Hut (3500m) to Socialist Peak (4562m) to Miriakamba Hut (2500m) Distance:19km Time: 10 – 12 hours.
Mountain Day 4: Descent and exit Miriakamba Hut (2500m) to Momella Gate (1500m Distance: 14km Time: 4 – 5 hours
From Momella gate, we will transfer to Arusha. We are through with our climb. After a successful summit, nothing beats a hot shower, a proper meal and a well-deserved rest in our hotel in Moshi. A celebratory dinner as well as a certificate (for those who summit) awaits you at the end of this night.
